The AVS Mission
At AVS Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide you with professional and high quality pet care services. Our staff is caring, courteous and supportive to your needs as our client.
We believe that all pets should be provided with excellent medical care, and one of our goals is to serve you in providing that quality care. Another goal is to educate you, our client, as to how to keep your pet healthy and happy.
Our establishment has been serving the community since 1997, and we feel that we not only have provided the community with excellent pet care services, but also have been instrumental in instilling the importance of public health when concerning pets in our community.

About The Doctor
Dr. Darin D. Alston is a 1990 graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. degree in Animal Science. He then went to Veterinary Medical School at Tuskegee University and attained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995.
Dr. Alston moved to the metro Atlanta area in the fall of 1995 in order to pursue his lifelong dream of being a practicing veterinarian. Within 2 years, Dr. Alston's experiences were immense and very beneficial. He worked at various animal clinics, emergency hospitals and the Atlanta Humane Society.
In the fall of 1997, Dr. Alston opened AVS Animal Hospital with the expectation of serving the community with professional, ethical and caring pet care services.
