About the Doctor
Dr. Darin D. Alston is a 1990 graduate of North Carolina
State University with a B.S. degree in Animal Science. He then
went to Veterinary Medical School at Tuskegee University and
attained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995.
Dr. Alston moved to the metro Atlanta area in the fall of
1995 in order to pursue his lifelong dream of being a practicing
veterinarian. Within 2 years, Dr. Alston's experiences were
immense and very beneficial. He worked at various animal
clinics, emergency hospitals and the Atlanta Humane Society.
In the fall of 1997, Dr. Alston opened AVS Animal Hospital
with the expectation of serving the community with professional,
ethical and caring pet care services.
